Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct client intake, eligibility screening, enrollment, and orientation to available programs and services.
  • •Assist refugees, immigrants, and other eligible clients with applications, renewals, and case maintenance for public benefits (including TANF, RCA, SNAP, Medicaid, All Kids, SSI, and AABD).
  • •Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate case management, benefits education, advocacy, interpretation, and translation to support clients in accessing and maintaining public benefits.
  • •Serve as a liaison between clients and Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) staff to resolve case issues, monitor benefit status, and ensure timely service delivery.
  • •Coordinate internal and external referrals, maintain accurate client records and case notes, and support program documentation and outreach activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 21 - 24 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of two (2) years of experience in immigrant case management or a related field.
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • •Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, immigration statuses and associated eligibility for benefits.
  • •Ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records and documentation in compliance with requirements.
  • •Valid drivers license, access to a reliable vehicle, and ability to pass MVR standards.
