Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate slitting machines and assist with slitting activities as required, following safety and quality standards.
  • •Undertake job and specification changes (e.g., tension control and knives) with assistance from a team leader as needed.
  • •Monitor sensors and systems for efficient product use, including end-of-job run downs and next-job restarts with adjustments.
  • •Perform quality checks, record results, and complete quality records and production paperwork for outputs, waste, and downtime.
  • •Load/unload coils, pack and wrap to customer specification, assist in machine setup at standard operating conditions, and participate in training and remedial actions.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • •Previous experience undertaking quality tests is desirable.
