Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up, tear down, load and operate slicers while maximizing speed, slicing yield, and percent of acceptable drafts.
  • •Document slicing characteristics, downtime, process checks, and quality checks.
  • •Perform operator care procedures, including changing and trimming slicer orifice, routine cleaning, changing blades, and slicer washdowns.
  • •Reweigh rejected drafts and work them back into the line to keep giveaway to a minimum.
  • •Follow safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements, perform housekeeping, and complete job rotation as needed.
