Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage the EMEA commercial legal team, supporting professional development and delivering high-quality legal support.
•Serve as the primary escalation point for complex legal issues and contract negotiations, providing definitive guidance.
•Partner with executive staff and revenue leadership as a strategic legal business partner to align legal risk and business objectives.
•Initiate and manage strategic legal projects, including scalable processes and regional templates to accelerate contract velocity.
•Negotiate complex strategic commercial deals and ensure ongoing contracting processes comply with company policies and risk tolerance.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience in a legal leadership or management role within a high-growth software/technology company in the EMEA region.
•Admitted to the bar and in good standing (or otherwise authorized to practice law) in the UK or at least one European country as a commercial attorney.
•10+ years of in-house legal experience with a track record of managing a team handling complex commercial transactions at scale.
•Expertise in commercial legal matters including data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, SaaS contracting, and EU regulations (e.g., GDPR, DORA, NIS2, EU Data Act, EU AI Act).
•Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication; experience with Salesforce, Google Workspace, and contract lifecycle management systems.
