Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead environmental assessments, including PSA, DSA, QRA, DQRA, and CSM development, ensuring accurate evaluations.
  • •Oversee groundwater and surface water monitoring to provide critical data for analysis and decisions.
  • •Design and implement site investigations, including the rationale and comprehensive examination of geochemical and hydrogeological project environments.
  • •Develop, optioneer, specify, detail execute, and validate remediation projects to restore sites and meet environmental standards.
  • •Provide strategic advice to clients on managing and mitigating environmental impacts on surface waters and groundwater with support from senior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Academic background in geochemical and hydrogeological aspects of geoscience, engineering hydrology, or related subjects.
  • •Extensive experience in geochemical and hydrogeological contaminated land assessment and management.
  • •Strong understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance.
  • •Hands-on field investigation experience, including site management, drilling supervision, monitoring system installation, and sampling (groundwater/ground gas) or supervision of remediation activities.
  • •Experience in hydrogeological site characterisation and risk assessment, with numerical modelling and geochemical modelling as advantageous.
