Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma.
  • •0-2 years of road and bridge construction inspection and testing experience, or equivalent education/training; Engineering Interns may be eligible without experience.
  • •Ability to attain listed NCDOT certifications within 90 days (as scheduling allows).
  • •Ability to keep accurate records, compute field data, and read/interpret construction plans.
  • •Basic proficiency with technical writing and office automation tools (software/spreadsheets), and ability to perform physical tasks required for testing and inspection.
