Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the end-to-end accounting process for the region/LOB, including ledger close and complex accounting events such as manual journals.
  • •Prepare and review IFRS balance sheet and profit & loss schedules and consolidated final accounts, including Annual Reports & accounts.
  • •Own GRCA/FINREP/GSIB reporting and other regulatory reporting, including MI and manual return preparation/management.
  • •Produce advanced analytical review schedules (AR/GRS) for quarterly regional submission and perform variance analysis.
  • •Lead the team and drive process improvements/transition activities, including documentation under RCA/SOX and ensuring SOPs, testing, and backup planning for uninterrupted delivery.

Key Requirements

  • •CA/CPA/ACCA/MBA/ICWAI with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • •Prior experience in GRCA reporting/Regulatory Reporting/MI Reporting and manual return compilation, review and approval of journals.
  • •Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting principles, with in-depth experience across balance sheet and income statement heads using IFRS.
  • •Ability to meet KPI timelines under stringent, high-pressure reporting deadlines.
  • •Experience managing small (5+) teams in specialized functions.
