Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and optimize container transports via barge and rail based on customer needs, available capacity, and costs.
  • •Coordinate transport schedules with sea and inland terminals in Europe to ensure smooth handovers.
  • •Monitor ongoing transports and respond to disruptions such as low water levels, weather, or terminal congestion.
  • •Communicate clearly and proactively with customers, partners, and internal teams to maintain transparency and continuity.
  • •Adjust plans to resolve operational issues and contribute to new transport initiatives such as developing new routes and connections.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience with transport planning, logistics, or supply chain processes.
  • •Knowledge of rail and/or inland waterway transport, with interest in both modalities.
  • •Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to switch quickly in a changing environment.
  • •Clear, confident communication with customers, terminals, and partners.
