Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate actionable insights from complex, multi-source marketing data to inform channel investment, campaign design, and pipeline strategy.
  • •Design, build, and maintain UpGuard’s attribution framework, including first and multi-touch attribution and incrementality testing, with clear communication of trade-offs and assumptions.
  • •Develop channel and program analytics across paid media, organic, content, lifecycle, partner, and field, building metrics, models, and dashboards for self-serve performance.
  • •Partner with data engineering to design, construct, and maintain foundational marketing data assets using dbt models and a governed semantic/metrics layer for humans and AI agents.
  • •Conduct hands-on technical deep dives to diagnose major marketing challenges (e.g., saturation, diminishing returns, lead quality decay, campaign cannibalisation) and connect marketing investment to pipeline, ARR, and payback.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years delivering analytics solutions for Marketing teams within a high-growth SaaS company.
  • •Strong working knowledge of paid, organic, lifecycle, partner, and field channel logic and fluency in attribution methodologies (multi-touch, incrementality, and marketing mix modelling).
  • •Ability to take loose, ambiguous, or evolving marketing requirements and translate them into well-structured dbt models and clear metric definitions stakeholders can act on.
  • •Strong understanding of modern data infrastructure, including cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery), ETL/ELT tools, dbt model development, and modern visualization tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot, OMNI, Looker).
  • •Experience in consulting, successfully managing a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple companies and stakeholder groups.
