Key Responsibilities

  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, producing and presenting final cost plans.
  • •Review and participate with design services and the general contractor to develop cost estimates, reconciling changes to keep contractor data accurate.
  • •Coordinate cost information sources for cost discussions and support suppliers/direct quantities from architects/engineers.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, post-contract cost variances, and change of control processes, including cost impact/contingency and commitment tracking.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports for clients and help ensure timely negotiation and agreement of final accounts; compile built cost records for benchmarking.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5-7 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
  • •Excellent communication skills; RICS accredited or working toward it is preferred.
