Job Summary

Support the research, development, and delivery of trims for ready-to-wear collections. Translate creative design intent into high-quality, commercially viable trim concepts by partnering with vendors, leading seasonal research, managing the development critical path, and overseeing sourcing, ordering, and delivery. Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Engineering to resolve technical challenges and support product testing, while keeping trim information accurate in PLM systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain partnerships with vendors to understand capabilities, capacity, and delivery timelines.
•Lead seasonal trim research and present new concepts aligned with design direction and brand standards.
•Define and manage the trim development critical path to meet milestones and proactively address risks.
•Oversee sourcing, ordering, and delivery of trims, ensuring quality, cost, and timing targets are achieved.
•Collaborate with Design, Product Development, and Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges, support product testing, and maintain accurate PLM information.

Key Requirements

•Strong understanding of trim development, materials, and construction, with the ability to translate design concepts into technical solutions.
•Proven experience working with vendors and building effective partnerships through clear communication.
•Ability to manage multiple projects while balancing creativity with commercial awareness and cost considerations.
•Knowledge across fabrics, raw materials, garment construction, and leather (highly valued).
•Experience with systems and tools including PLM and Microsoft Excel, with a detail-oriented approach to accuracy.
