Job Summary

Own a product vertical end to end for BJAK’s Neobank Superapp, from strategy and roadmap to technical design and delivery. Lead payments, remittance, insurance, or wealth/trading initiatives within a money-movement, compliance-constrained environment. Partner closely with engineering, design, compliance, operations, and finance to shape technical solutions, define acceptance criteria, make correctness-focused trade-offs, and ship through external partner and regulatory gates—using AI responsibly where it improves outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

•Own a product vertical end-to-end, including outcomes/metrics, value-risk-dependency backlog prioritization, and crisp acceptance criteria.
•Shape technical design with engineering for correctness, security, latency, scalability, recovery, and money-movement behavior (idempotency, ledgering, reconciliation).
•Make and defend hard trade-offs across correctness, speed, cost, reliability, and UX with engineering, compliance, and ops stakeholders.
•Treat regulated constraints as first-class product inputs, covering licensing scope, CDD/KYC and limits, sanctions/PEP screening, transaction monitoring, and data residency/privacy.
•Apply AI where it earns its place by defining allowed decision boundaries, human-in-the-loop behavior, evaluation approach, and safe behavior when unsure; ship through external and regulatory gates.

Key Requirements

•Significant experience owning a complex technical product end-to-end, with strong judgment and decisiveness under ambiguity.
•Solid technical foundation across system design, datastores, queues/workflows, APIs, and failure modes, with the ability to challenge design docs.
•Experience in a regulated/high-consequence domain such as payments, banking, remittance, or insurance (or proven ability to ramp quickly).
•Hands-on AI judgment for LLM-based products, including evaluation design and realistic handling of hallucination/drift/data gaps.
•A highly technical product mindset (nice to have: engineer background, zero-to-one, shipped AI-heavy consumer products, SEA market experience).
