Key Responsibilities

  • •Stand up the Legal Technology Services function and lead the phased transition of technology services from Legal Operations to LTS.
  • •Build, coach, and develop legal technology engineers and service professionals, defining operating model elements such as service catalog, engagement approach, technical standards, and service-management practices.
  • •Provide technical leadership across CLM, DMS, knowledge management/search, matter/ELM, eBilling, IP management, litigation and eDiscovery, legal hold, workflow, compliance, analytics, and emerging legal technologies.
  • •Own the technical lifecycle of legal platforms from architecture and design through configuration, development, integration, deployment, optimization, support, and retirement; lead global implementations including integrations, data migration, testing, release management, and stabilization.
  • •Ensure secure and reliable operations by establishing production support, monitoring, incident/escalation management, problem management, root-cause analysis, release controls, and resilience planning; partner with DTIS infrastructure, security, data, and engineering teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • •10+ years of experience in legal technology, enterprise applications, technology consulting, or a related field, including significant experience delivering legal technology solutions in complex organizations.
  • •5+ years leading technical teams with direct people-management responsibility for solution delivery and production services.
  • •Demonstrated experience across multiple areas of the enterprise legal technology landscape.
  • •Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, SaaS and cloud technologies, APIs and integrations, identity and access management, data management, information security, and service management.
