Job Summary

Lead the Switchboard team responsible for GitLab Dedicated’s tenant management product and customer-facing control panel. You’ll set product and technical direction across a fullstack, distributed group (frontend, backend, reliability), hire and develop talent, and partner with Product and Design on wireframes and UI direction. Own planning and quarterly delivery, unblock execution, and drive improvements in quality, security, performance, and operational excellence for large-scale dedicated tenant fleets.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the fullstack Switchboard team for GitLab Dedicated’s customer-facing control panel, setting direction and coordinating with the Product Manager.
•Hire and develop a high-performing team focused on quality and speed.
•Partner with Technical Team Leads to provide direction and act as decision-maker to unblock progress.
•Collaborate with Product and Design on the control panel, including wireframes and UI direction for external users.
•Own planning with the Product Manager (priorities, dependencies, quarterly delivery epic) and ensure fast cross-functional execution across frontend, backend, UX, product, and technical writing.
