Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on trucks and trailers in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Carry out minor adjustments and repairs across electrical, brake, cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on a company-issued service truck, including periodic reconciliation.
  • •Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document repairs and findings via Repair Orders, upload photos, complete DOT forms, and communicate with management for approvals and purchase order/RO details.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and up to 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform required job duties.
  • •Participate in and complete all required company training and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical.
  • •Hold a current and valid DOT medical card (or obtain a DOT physical if less than four months remain).
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File; ASE T8 (PMI) certification required or obtained within 18 months.
