Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead strategic studies for the medium-voltage MV switchgear landscape, market trends, and customer-centric solutions.
  • •Take executive responsibility for design development within R&D projects using DFSS methodology (analysis, performance tests, prototyping, validation/type testing, data release).
  • •Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams (Quality, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operational Excellence) to meet customer expectations and improve product experience.
  • •Conduct research on patents, benchmarking, manufacturing technologies, and regulatory specifications, and lead technical communication and analysis.
  • •Perform cost-optimization reviews, provide product line support for current products and NPI transitions, and validate supplier deviation evaluations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • •Minimum 5 years in design projects (preferably in the electric sector) or 2 years as an engineering expert with sector-specific technical knowledge.
  • •Experience with design for Six Sigma (DFSS), including manufacturing methods or Green Belt certification.
  • •Hands-on experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and kinematic, dynamic, and structural analysis of mechanical systems.
  • •Expertise with SolidWorks and design data management systems (ADAMS, Inventor, AutoCAD, Minitab, ANSYS/SolidWorks Simulation are preferred).
