Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze statistical data and apply mathematical models to assess risk, pricing, reserves, premiums, and liabilities across lines of business.
  • •Design, build, validate, and deploy predictive pricing models (statistical and machine learning) and maintain pricing pipelines from data ingestion to monitoring.
  • •Perform rate indications for assigned states and programs and recommend rate actions focused on profitability, competitiveness, and regulatory feasibility.
  • •Conduct portfolio-level and account/treaty pricing analyses and identify opportunities for growth, re-underwriting, contraction, or exit.
  • •Monitor pricing performance, build dashboards/reporting tools, support regulatory filings/experience studies, and mentor/guide underwriters and team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • •FCAS (Casualty Actuarial Society) Fellowship designation required; ACAS or near-ACAS standing required.
  • •3+ years of progressive actuarial experience in property and casualty insurance and/or reinsurance pricing.
  • •Demonstrated experience building and deploying predictive models and pricing tools in a commercial or specialty insurance environment.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Python; strong SQL skills and experience with predictive modeling and pricing tools.
