Job Summary

Operate a forklift and/or skid steer to lift and move materials, machines, and products while meeting company Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. Maintain plant operations through cleaning, yard/facility cleanup, and scrap sorting. Complete equipment paperwork, report malfunctions, and attend certification and retraining. Work outdoors in a scrap yard environment with required PPE, supporting safe, efficient throughput and compliance.

Job Function: Manufacturing & Production Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Operate a forklift and/or skid steer to lift and move materials, machines, and products.
•Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including wearing PPE and following safety protocols.
•Assist with cleaning and yard/facility cleanup to support plant operations.
•Complete required paperwork for forklift/skid steer and report equipment deficiencies or malfunctions.
•Perform basic sorting of scrap, metal, and debris in preparation for processing, and assist with special projects as needed.

Key Requirements

•Must hold valid Forklift and/or Skid Steer Certification, if required in the state or province you are applying to work.
•Experience operating equipment in an industrial setting to move product and/or material.
•Must be at least 18 years of age for USA (and 16 for Canada, if applicable).
•Strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, including wearing required PPE.
•Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions; detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
