Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Warehouse Facility Management team at the Giessen site, including facility managers, technicians and backoffice staff, and act as the primary contact for external building service providers
  • •Oversee planned and corrective maintenance of all building systems, ensure proper documentation and compliance with legal and safety requirements
  • •Ensure uninterrupted operational facility operations and serve as a power user of CAFM, building management systems, and energy management systems
  • •Identify and implement optimization measures and document all services, inspections, and corrective actions
  • •Monitor budgets and operating costs and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facilities function

Key Requirements

  • •A university degree or a master craftsman/technician certificate in electrical engineering, building services engineering, or a comparable technical qualification; proven hands-on experience in building management
  • •Approximately 7 years of professional experience in relevant trades and facilities management
  • •Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • •Solid knowledge of normative and legal requirements for building technology and occupational safety, budgeting, and KPI/SLAs
  • •Proven stakeholder management skills and experience coordinating with technical service providers and internal teams
