Key Responsibilities

  • •Design the architecture for the event-driven pipeline that carries partner data into deployed fraud signals and partner alerts.
  • •Own sign-off on pipeline architecture and any material changes, including decisions when signal requirements strain the design.
  • •Set pipeline standards for handling spikes in partner data, scoring failures, and onboarding new signals without destabilizing live ones.
  • •Build the hardest pipeline components, including proof-of-concept integrations and the trickiest parts of the event-driven design.
  • •Design within data-security and PII/PHI constraints and collaborate with data science on representing approved fraud-signal logic in the pipeline.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • •8+ years designing and owning production data architecture, including at least one event-driven or streaming pipeline built and run at real scale.
  • •Deep hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake, including designing event-driven ingestion patterns that feed a warehouse-native scoring/analytics layer.
  • •Strong Python and SQL to build the pieces you design yourself rather than only diagram them.
  • •Experience designing systems that operate under data-security/compliance constraints (PII/PHI or comparable sensitive data) with a separate security function.
