Job Summary

Responsible for overall maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and machinery. Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and heavy trucks; operate hand and power tools to grease, weld, cut, and replace parts. Weld and use a cutting torch as needed, test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, and maintain plant structures. Replace faulty electrical components, install equipment, and dismantle/repair defective parts.

Key Responsibilities

•Install, adjust, and repair production equipment, heavy trucks, and special purpose machines as assigned.
•Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts, and complete assigned tasks.

•Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determine repairs, and coordinate with fellow mechanics as needed.
•Replace faulty parts and electrical components (wires, motors, controls, circuit boards) and install/test equipment for proper functioning.

Key Requirements
