Job Summary

Serve as the senior technical authority for complex DHA LAN/WLAN/WAN network operations supporting MTFs and other DHA activities within CONUS/OCONUS. Own escalation, troubleshooting, configuration, security, documentation, modernization support, and coordination in a multi-provider EITSI environment. Lead installation and tuning of routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, VPN devices, and IDS/IPS, using SolarWinds/Orion, ARMIS, and Ansible while implementing STIG-compliant and RMF/ATO-ready artifacts.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as premier Senior Network Engineer and regional technical authority for OCONUS DHA networked facilities, with global coordination when required.
•Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex LAN/WLAN/WAN issues impacting network availability, performance, and security posture for clinical mission support.
•Lead installation, configuration, documentation, management, tuning, and troubleshooting of routers, switches, wireless, firewalls, VPN devices, IDS/IPS, and circuit connectivity.
•Use SolarWinds/Orion, ARMIS, Ansible, diagnostics, and packet/cabling tools to isolate root cause, restore service, and recommend corrective actions.
•Coordinate and document STIG-compliant configurations, IAVA remediation, vulnerability fixes, inventories, network diagrams, and RMF/ATO technical artifacts; provide regional technical leadership and escalation guidance.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•An active DoD Secret clearance is required for consideration.
•Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline plus at least five years of directly related experience; or certified technical/vocational school completion with ten years of progressively complex experience.
•DoD cyber workforce compliance aligned to DoD 8570.01-M, including IAM Level III (or equivalent), CISSP (or equivalent), and CCNP.
•Eligible for ADP/IT-I critical-sensitive Public Trust.
•Mastery of enterprise LAN/WLAN/WAN architecture and routed/switched environments, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and core routing/wireless/Ethernet concepts.
