Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and monitor the project QMS for a GW solar and integrated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) program.
  • •Review and monitor ITP/FQP implementation, inspection requests, method statement requirements, and material acceptance records.
  • •Conduct quality surveillance across civil, MMS/tracker, module, DC/AC/MV, and SCADA/control-system records within the defined scope.
  • •Register and monitor NCRs, corrective/preventive actions, deviations/concessions, and closure evidence.
  • •Coordinate hold/witness point status with discipline engineers, EPC quality teams, and client representatives; report quality trends and risks affecting commissioning or HOTO.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • •+5–10 years of QA/QC engineering experience in utility-scale solar PV power plants or heavy infrastructure projects.
  • •2–3 years managing quality control on large-scale solar fields (150MW+), including civil, mechanical, and electrical inspection frameworks.
  • •Familiarity with quality dynamics in major Indian solar parks is highly advantageous.
  • •Certified Welding Inspector (AWS/CSWIP) or NDT Level II (UT, PT, MT) and training/certification in ISO 9001:2015 are highly preferred/desirable.
