Job Summary

Complete a 9-week onboarding and education program to become a Retail Personal Banker I, including rotations in operations and Sales & Service and a final certification. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, cross-sell and conduct outside sales, and partner with Mortgage/Small Business/Commercial/Investment teams to refer and deliver holistic financial outcomes while processing teller transactions and managing risk.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 9-week onboarding/education program with rotations and final certification to perform as a Retail Personal Banker I.
•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Proactively reach out using CAMP and other approved marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Process teller transactions and support the platform staff while meeting customer experience and production goals, including cross-selling and referring to Business Partners as appropriate.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to perform sales activities to acquire new consumer household and small business customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through NMLS (MU4R questions/registration required).
