Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and process payroll for Australia-based employees, ensuring timely and accurate payroll delivery and supporting additional in-country payrolls as the business expands.
  • •Manage payroll inputs and validations (variable pay, allowances, leave loading, absences, retroactive adjustments, final settlements, and Fringe Benefits).
  • •Handle statutory payroll reporting and remittances for Australia, including PAYG withholding, superannuation, and year-end reporting.
  • •Coordinate Employer of Record (EOR) payroll cycles with the EOR partner, including inputs, invoices, and issue resolution across supported countries.
  • •Maintain payroll processes in Workday, reconcile payroll and benefits data, support month-end activities, respond to payroll/benefits inquiries, and assist with audits and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of payroll experience with hands-on end-to-end processing of Australian payroll.
  • •Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll requirements including PAYG withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, state and territory payroll tax, and year-end reporting.
  • •Working understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards as they apply to pay, leave, and termination.
  • •Experience coordinating payroll through third-party providers (EOR/global payroll platforms) across time zones and multiple countries.
  • •Experience with payroll reconciliations, reporting, controls, documentation, and employee lifecycle payroll administration.
