Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in the development and maintenance of Project WBS and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for specific scopes.
  • •Assist in developing project budgets based on the Basis of Estimate, including statements of work scope, assumptions, and man-hour estimates.
  • •Liaise with procurement, finance, time-capture functions, and third parties to support accurate and timely capture of cost data and allocate costs per approved WBS.
  • •Monitor cost commitments and expenditures across the project lifecycle and provide input to cost performance reports and cost forecasts updates.
  • •Support project change orders/variations by ensuring accurate cost code allocation and communicating cost and schedule impact as required.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 15 years’ experience in cost/project controls for energy projects.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business discipline (or equivalent via vocational training/industry experience).
  • •Develop and maintain Project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS) for assigned scopes.
  • •Develop project budgets in line with the Basis of Estimate, including man-hour estimates and client document review.
  • •Use computer skills and proactively deliver assigned scopes with strong verbal and written communication and organizational awareness.
