Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct environmental field studies including wetland delineations, protected species habitat assessments, and Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments.
  • •Support renewable energy project development scopes in line with budgets, deadlines, and quality requirements.
  • •Use GIS to analyze spatial data, create maps, and evaluate constraints for renewable energy development.
  • •Author and contribute to technical documents, reports, and permit applications while ensuring health, safety, and environmental considerations.
  • •Support environmental permitting efforts with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies and provide technical/logistical support to field personnel.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology, or Natural Resources related discipline; Master’s degree is an asset.
  • •Ability to work in both field and office settings with regular fieldwork in varied terrain and all weather conditions.
  • •Demonstrated interest in the renewable energy sector.
  • •Solid understanding of the Clean Water Act, Endangered Species Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
  • •Proficiency in GIS software and applications.
