Key Responsibilities

•Ensure the EMEA region complies with local, national, and international trade regulations relevant to the industry.
•Translate laws and regulations (customs, export controls, sanctions, trade agreements) into practical internal policies and advise the business on implementation.
•Manage post-Brexit compliance by ensuring UK-EU trade agreement compliance, customs declarations, and adapting internal systems for new customs requirements.
•Oversee product compliance with environmental and safety standards such as RoHS and REACH, including certification and documentation.
•Identify compliance risks, run compliance training programs, and plan internal/external audits while maintaining accurate record-keeping and serving as a primary contact for authorities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 45,000 - 68,000 annually

Key Requirements

•3-5 years of experience in a compliance role, preferably in an international environment.
•University degree in Compliance, International Trade, or a related field, or a certified compliance professional.
•Strong knowledge of global trade regulations, including customs, export controls, sanctions, and free trade agreements (e.g., USMCA, WTO rules).
•Competent spoken and written English.
•Proven track record managing cross-functional projects and providing subject matter expertise on compliance issues.
