Job Summary

Own end-to-end technical architecture for PTC Windchill PLM programs, covering system landscape, data models, lifecycles, workflows, access controls, and customization vs. out-of-the-box strategy. Ensure PTC compliance and upgrade-friendly solutions while defining integrations using REST/OData, Info*Engine, ESI, and middleware. Lead architecture/code reviews, performance/security standards, and troubleshoot production issues across implementation, migration, enhancement, and go-live readiness.

Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end technical architecture for Windchill PLM programs.
•Define Windchill system landscape, data model, objects, lifecycles, workflows, access controls, and customization vs. OOTB strategy.
•Provide technical direction to developers, functional consultants, and migration teams; review and approve technical design documents and integration/customization approaches.
•Conduct architecture and code reviews to ensure quality and performance; define performance, scalability, and security standards.
•Architect upgrade/migration strategies (Windchill to Windchill and non-Windchill to Windchill), support rehost/cloud decisions (AWS/Azure), and support UAT sign-off, go-live readiness, and hypercare stabilization.

Key Requirements

•Deep hands-on expertise with PTC Windchill PLM and senior-level Windchill architectural ownership.
•Strong experience across Windchill modules, including PDMLink (mandatory) and other modules like MPMLink/Change Management/PartsLink/ProjectLink as applicable.
•Strong understanding of BOM, Part, Document, and Change management, plus CAD integrations and publishing.
•Experience with Windchill Java APIs and customization framework, REST/OData services, Info*Engine, ESI, and Oracle/SQL Server databases.
•Ability to design/review high-scale Windchill architectures and define security, performance, and availability standards.
