Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee the creation, tracking, and storage of documents in a centralised repository for effective organisation, access, and retrieval.
  • •Develop and maintain version control procedures to ensure current documentation usage while preserving historical records for audit.
  • •Ensure accurate document management by monitoring revisions and maintaining consistency across document versions.
  • •Coordinate and optimize distribution of documents to internal and external stakeholders, supporting timely and accurate communication.
  • •Manage document access permissions, coordinate review and approval workflows, maintain document history records, and produce document status/compliance reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency using document management systems (DMS), databases, and software such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and specialised document control platforms.
  • •Strong understanding of project management principles and practices to align document control activities with project objectives and deliverables.
  • •Sound knowledge of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and legal obligations for document management, handling, retention, and storage.
  • •Demonstrate a background in infrastructure projects, supporting document control across rail/transport projects.
  • •Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation records and ensure compliance with organisational standards and procedures.
