Key Responsibilities

  • •Install and repair telematics systems and devices on vehicles, construction equipment, heavy equipment, and customer assets.
  • •Perform ignition system removal/replacement and integrate communication between keypad and telematics systems.
  • •Execute installation scenarios from basic power/ground/ignition to complex wiring harness work involving CAN network access.
  • •Troubleshoot installation issues by gathering/analyzing information and developing alternative solutions when needed.
  • •Travel to client sites and EquipmentShare rental yards across the region, and occasionally work outside business hours and on weekends.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (trade school certificate preferred).
  • •Mechanical aptitude and comfort using tools, with experience in a related field (e.g., electrician, HVAC tech, car audio installer).
  • •Own tools, with a few specialty tools provided.
  • •Ability to drive safely, maneuver in tight spaces, squat/bend, walk long distances, and lift 25+ lb, with a clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
  • •Willingness to travel within a 250-mile radius of the local branch (up to a week at a time) and be available for on-call scheduling.
