Job Summary

Commission and complete final testing of complex audio-visual systems during and after build. You’ll interpret schematics and blueprints, test point-to-point functionality, troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP systems, and configure IP-addressable devices. Partner with the Project Manager with documented test results, perform client training, complete punchlists/documentation, and provide technical leadership on major tasks, including travel to job sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct final testing and commissioning of complex audio-visual systems during and after build.
•Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints; verify installation quality against the SOW.
•Test point-to-point functionality and integrated systems; troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP issues.
•Field-install control programs for AMX/Crestron (upload/download) and write minor DSP code changes as directed.
•Configure IP addressable devices, perform client training, complete job documentation/punchlists, and travel to job sites as required.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of a High School Diploma (or equivalent).
•Proficiency with test and calibration equipment and support for user acceptance testing.
•Minor programming capability (AMX/Crestron) with changes and troubleshooting.
•Ability to diagnose complex system problems and understand advanced signal flow for audio, video, and control.
•Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards. Ability to climb/work from ladders up to 35 feet.
