Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, validate, approve, and monitor engineering corrective actions/improvements and preventive measures to resolve engineering non-conformities.
  • •Create, approve, and authorize technical solutions (release) including justification reports for repairs, rework, or troubleshooting instructions.
  • •Represent Chief Engineering and design offices (by delegation) and interface with design-to-build suppliers.
  • •Act as an interface between the A320 Family Chief Engineer, design office, and the Manufacturing and Quality assurance functions.
  • •Provide engineering support to FAL US throughout manufacturing and relevant engineering items, including temporary aircraft definitions aligned with airworthiness requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
  • •5 years in a job title involving experience developing design office responsibilities in an aeronautical environment.
  • •Experience in electrical, mechanical, and structures installation design, including aircraft structures and mechanical installation design/stress in a design office.
  • •Perform basic stress calculations and justifications for installation purposes, including repair design and basic stress analysis.
  • •Create and manage design changes and corrective actions, provide engineering support and lead troubleshooting during structural assembly, and apply aircraft configuration management rules.
