Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement a contract management process to ensure successful project execution.
  • •Develop and execute equipment and services procurement strategies for construction projects.
  • •Perform market analysis to determine should costs and secure purchasing deals.
  • •Create and negotiate contract documents with the legal department, and manage vendor relationships.
  • •Track and report projected vs. actual spend, assess budgetary risk, present value propositions, and execute cost-reduction initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations/supply chain management, master production scheduling, or construction/facilities/industrial plant management; or 10+ years in one or more of these areas in lieu of a degree.
  • •Strong purchasing and procurement experience with construction projects, including construction project management and/or construction cost estimating.
  • •Ability to negotiate contracts and manage contract documents in collaboration with internal partners (e.g., Legal).
  • •Strong budget tracking and cost analytical skills, including spend forecasting and budgetary risk assessment.
  • •Advanced quantitative and business process analysis skills to identify financial impacts of sourcing and purchasing decisions.
