Job Summary

Own the UX of A1’s core app experience across iOS, Android, and web, designing end-to-end flows for AI-assisted tasks. Translate user requirements into clear, reliable interfaces that support asynchronous, non-deterministic, context-dependent behavior. Define AI state experiences, decision transparency, user confirmations, and recovery paths through usability research, then produce wireframes and high-fidelity designs for engineering.

Key Responsibilities

•Own UX for A1’s core app surfaces across iOS, Android, and web.
•Design complete user flows for AI-assisted tasks, including handoff, progress tracking, and error recovery.
•Design how the app surfaces what the AI is doing, its decisions, and what users need to confirm or adjust.
•Map and design AI user states including loading, thinking, acting, waiting, completing, stalling, failing, and recovering.
•Collaborate with product, engineering, and ML teams, and contribute to the design system and shared UX patterns for AI app surfaces.

Key Requirements

•Experience as a UX designer on consumer mobile or web apps, with a strong portfolio.
•Solid user flow design, wireframing, and high-fidelity prototyping in Figma.
•Ability to design for asynchronous, non-deterministic, and context-dependent systems.
•Strong understanding of user trust, control, feedback, and transparency in AI-driven product experiences.
•Experience conducting user research and turning findings into design decisions.
