Key Responsibilities

  • •Own UX for A1’s core app surfaces across iOS, Android, and web.
  • •Design complete user flows for AI-assisted tasks, including handoff, progress tracking, and error recovery.
  • •Design how the app surfaces what the AI is doing, its decisions, and what users need to confirm or adjust.
  • •Map and design AI user states including loading, thinking, acting, waiting, completing, stalling, failing, and recovering.
  • •Collaborate with product, engineering, and ML teams, and contribute to the design system and shared UX patterns for AI app surfaces.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a UX designer on consumer mobile or web apps, with a strong portfolio.
  • •Solid user flow design, wireframing, and high-fidelity prototyping in Figma.
  • •Ability to design for asynchronous, non-deterministic, and context-dependent systems.
  • •Strong understanding of user trust, control, feedback, and transparency in AI-driven product experiences.
  • •Experience conducting user research and turning findings into design decisions.
