Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling directly to eligible children and youth of service members at assigned locations.
  • •Provide training and health and wellness presentations, and participate in base activities focused on children and youth.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily through smartphone or web application ensuring accurate reporting and confidentiality.
  • •Establish and maintain working relationships with community resources and provide appropriate linkages; be visibly accessible at assigned locations.
  • •Participate in supervision, respond to urgent requests, and support DoD DoD protocol where applicable.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master's Degree in a Mental Health field with independent state licensure (MD) as LCSW-C, LCMFT, LCPC, or Psychologist
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license in Maryland
  • •Minimum of two years of post-license clinical experience
  • •Ability to engage with military members and families and work on military installations, including exigent situations
  • •Proficiency with technology (Microsoft Office, video conferencing) and reporting systems
