Job Summary

Front-end Developer to build modern, cloud-based front-end platforms for financial services in Capco's Italian office. You will work in an Agile, collaborative environment, contribute to React/TypeScript-based applications, and help optimize UI with CSS frameworks. Mentoring junior developers and ensuring robust, secure front-end solutions in a CI/CD context are part of this role.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate in delivering modern cloud-based front-end platforms using Agile methods
•Build and maintain front-end features with React/TypeScript and related CSS frameworks
•Mentor and coach junior developers to raise code quality and technical capabilities
•Ensure front-end security, performance, and accessibility best practices in CI/CD pipelines
•Debug, diagnose, and resolve front-end issues across complex applications

Key Requirements

•Exceptional JavaScript/TypeScript experience: ES5, ES6,ES2017, React (preferred) / Angular / Vue / Svelte
•CSS: exposure to SASS/LESS, frameworks: Bootstrap, SemanticUI, MaterialUI and Responsive design - CSS Grid/Flexbox
•Security standards: OAuth2, OpenID Connect & JWT
•Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
•At least one state management tool – Redux (preferred) / Flux / MobX
•Experience using and configuring task runners – Webpack(preferred) / Grunt
•Testing framework: Mocha / Jasmine / Chai / Jest / Enzyme
•Experience deploying containerised applications in CI/CD pipelines
•Experience coaching and mentoring junior developers
•Exceptional understanding of debugging and resolving application issues
•Knowledge of cloud concepts, capabilities, and design considerations
•Docker, Kubernetes
•Experience in Security technologies, protocols & techniques (e.g. TLS, OAuth, Encryption, Networks)
