Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the technical aspects of the security sales cycle from RFIs through RFPs & RFQs, including project management and participation in POCs.
  • •Listen to and interpret customer technical requirements to build solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
  • •Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners in close collaboration with the sales partner.
  • •Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions and the competitive landscape to support long-term protection against evolving threats.
  • •Maintain accurate customer/prospect technical activity and account information in Salesforce.

Key Requirements

  • •Have a high aptitude for security technology across network, endpoint, and application areas; CISSP accreditation is beneficial.
  • •Have experience in a pre-sales engineer role managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
  • •Demonstrate problem-solving skills and how they led to key wins in your organization.
  • •Understand and build customer relationships, communicating technical concepts to external and internal stakeholders.
  • •Be an expert in at least two areas including NGFW, advanced routing/SD-WAN, devops/automation tools, public/private cloud, ATP, NOC/SOC, WAF, SEG, XDR, NAC, or LAN/WLAN.
