Key Responsibilities

  • •Teach fundamentals of algebra & pre-calculus and/or applied math (calculus/statistics) courses.
  • •Develop and deliver organized lessons that build mathematical competence and conceptual understanding using modern teaching methodologies and educational technology.
  • •Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement, including creating lesson plans aligned with institutional standards.
  • •Create a supportive, inclusive learning environment; provide scaffolding and individualized support; support students through office hours, academic advising, and pastoral care.
  • •Design and administer assessments, provide constructive feedback, maintain records, and collaborate with colleagues to coordinate mathematics instruction across the foundation year.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
  • •Minimum 2 years of professional teaching experience at the university preparatory or undergraduate level.
  • •Strong subject matter expertise in algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus.
  • •Fluency in English (written and oral) to support teaching in an English-medium academic environment.
  • •Experience teaching mathematics in international or English-medium contexts and familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches (flipped classroom, active learning).
