Job Summary

Lead deputy program management for Standard Missile 6 and Standard Missile 2 DMSMS/obsolescence efforts, driving proactive monitoring and mitigation to reduce program execution risk. Manage baselining and gate reviews, oversee hardware replacement and obsolescence redesign schedules across multiple contracts, and support proposal development and contract negotiations. Collaborate with engineering, production, supply chain, finance, contracts, and customer IWS stakeholders to deliver mission-critical missile defense capabilities onsite in Tucson.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead proposal development, submit gate reviews, and support contract negotiations.
•Manage program baselining and startup gate reviews/approvals.
•Oversee multiple hardware replacement efforts across contracts to improve efficiency while minimizing execution risk.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, contracts, engineering, supply chain, operations) and develop program status reviews with SM-6 and SM-2 leadership.
•Oversee the schedule of obsolescence re-design activities and maintain relationships with customer IWS obsolescence teams and government stakeholders; travel as needed.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 7 years.
•Prior program and project management experience.
•PM4 certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
•Prior experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) or similar program/platform.
•Prior experience with managing cost, schedule, and technical performance, including proposal development and contract negotiation.
