Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of the vulnerability management program and related application security programs.
  • •Own and drive down MTTR across the vulnerability backlog as SLAs tighten.
  • •Build and champion automation and tooling to scale vulnerability detection and response across cloud, firmware/IoT, and corporate systems.
  • •Set technical and architectural direction by translating security priorities into an execution plan for the team.
  • •Mentor engineers on secure design and remediation, communicate risk tradeoffs to leadership, and participate in security incident investigations with on-call support.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience as a cloud or security engineer with hands-on vulnerability management across broad, multi-product enterprise environments.
  • •Proficiency in Go, Python, and JavaScript.
  • •Experience setting technical and architectural direction for a security program and driving remediation without direct authority over fixing teams.
  • •Strong vulnerability management tooling experience (e.g., Wiz, Semgrep) and familiarity with CVSS and EPSS frameworks.
  • •Deep understanding of SAST, DAST, and SCA, plus hands-on use of AI/LLM tooling in security workflows.
