Job Summary

Support remedial operations and groundwater monitoring projects at client sites near Portland, working closely with a Project Manager and under close supervision for the first six months. Perform environmental multi-media sampling, equipment setup/inspection, and routine maintenance of remediation systems, including well pump and recovery system tasks. Track operating parameters, record accurate field data, support health and safety needs, and coordinate with geologists and engineers to help keep permits and project documentation on track.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage data and track operating parameters for remediation operations.
•Perform routine fieldwork including environmental multi-media sampling, equipment operations, maintenance, and inspections under close supervision for the first six months.
•Carry out remediation system operations and maintenance, including recovery system and well pump maintenance, groundwater monitoring, and recording accurate field data.
•Support equipment setup/operation and inspect equipment and installations for compliance with specifications while maintaining proper project documentation.
•Assist with site activities such as health and safety coordination and subcontractor oversight; work with field geologists and engineers on site projects.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
•US citizenship required for this role.
•Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to travel between onsite locations.
•Ability to obtain the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) within 30 days of hire.
•Ability to perform frequent bending/stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs (or up to 75 lbs with assistance), and work outdoors with uneven terrain under variable conditions, while wearing required PPE.
