Job Summary

Serve as a technical lead in Professional Services, helping customers successfully implement and integrate the Kentik platform after onboarding. Lead advanced projects and provide network observability guidance to design and optimize infrastructure. Use customer and network data to identify value opportunities, support integrations with APIs and scripting, and share product feedback with Product Management while partnering with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to align on customer goals.

•Lead and execute technical professional services projects to ensure successful implementation of advanced features and integrations
•Provide expert guidance on network observability and help customers design and optimize infrastructure using Kentik insights
•Analyze customer usage patterns and network data to identify untapped opportunities and recommend features/workflows
•Assist customers in integrating Kentik with in-house tools and workflows using APIs and scripting when needed
•Channel customer requirements into product feedback by partnering with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams

Travel: Medium travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 144,000 - 168,000 annually

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in a high-tech solutions engineering, professional services, or network engineering role
•Must be located on the U.S. East Coast
•Strong understanding of network and application protocols (Netflow, BGP, SNMP, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP) for infrastructure design and operations
•Proven experience managing Cisco/Juniper routers and Linux servers
•Familiarity with network observability/monitoring suites (e.g., Kentik, Netscout Arbor, Splunk, Dynatrace, Catchpoint)
