Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to service members and families at military installations.
  • •Assist with establishing spending plans for extended absences and provide personal financial counseling and management services.
  • •Develop and provide informational financial materials for service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize, and present Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle, including pre- and post-deployment topics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required (may consider associate degree plus 4 years, or high school diploma plus 6 years).
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
  • •May need to be bilingual in English and Spanish if required by the contract.
  • •Must obtain/hold one of: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC); must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
