Job Summary

Onsite Desktop Support Engineer responsible for EUC support, L1 AV and infrastructure coordination, and asset lifecycle management at the Hyderabad Birlasoft office. Provides hands-on troubleshooting, user engagement, and coordination with IT/infra teams and external courier partners to ensure smooth IT operations and meeting room AV support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide onsite L1/L2 support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and accessories; perform OS installation, re-imaging, software installation, patching and basic troubleshooting.
•Coordinate with external courier/logistics partners for shipment/receipt of laptops and accessories; track consignments and ensure timely delivery.
•Provide hand and feet support for Network, Server, and Facilities/Infra teams during troubleshooting, rack/patching, and site maintenance activities.
•Provide Level 1 AV support for meeting room AV systems and VC devices; perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate with AV teams for complex issues.
•Ensure proper documentation of incidents, asset movement, and support activities; adhere to IT security, compliance, and audit requirements.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline
•2–4 years of onsite IT/EUC support experience
•Experience with Windows 10/11, basic macOS troubleshooting, hardware diagnostics
•Exposure to ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred) and AV setup/troubleshooting
•Strong coordination, vendor management, and customer-facing communication skills
