Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and enhance cybersecurity across UK RBW entities with robust risk management, regulatory compliance, and alignment to business objectives.
  • •Translate complex security concepts into actionable guidance for the UK RBW CISO and support business growth within risk appetite.
  • •Drive continuous improvement of controls, processes, and security technologies as part of the UK RBW cybersecurity strategy.
  • •Manage cybersecurity risk, governance, and compliance activities (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, FCA), coordinating audits/assessments and maintaining reporting and evidence.
  • •Lead day-to-day stakeholder engagement, incident management coordination under UK RBW CISO direction, and security culture initiatives; develop team capability and contribute to policy/standards/awareness programs.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years leading and delivering security strategy initiatives, teams, and programs using strong security risk methodologies and engineering practices.
  • •Practical experience designing and implementing security controls and tooling, including exposure to AI-enabled solutions, with working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulators.
  • •Working familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (GDPR, FCA), including governance, audits/assessments, evidence maintenance, and reporting.
  • •Proven leadership capability, including leading junior team members, improving control standards, and contributing to function maturity and transformation outcomes.
  • •Ability to communicate and influence senior stakeholders clearly, manage complex cybersecurity issues in fast-paced environments, and coordinate with risk/compliance partners and regulators as required.
