Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker I by completing a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service, followed by certification. Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and proactively reach out using CAMP and approved marketing tools. Cross-sell, support outside sales events, partner with mortgage and business teams, and help drive Financial Center P&L goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank value proposition.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out, set appointments, and conduct periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Process teller transactions and work as part of the platform staff, following policies and procedures and participating in the consumer loan and bankcard process.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Demonstrated ability to comfort with sales activities to acquire new households and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Ability to understand advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
