Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop LV switchgear products including AC/DC rated breakers (MPCB/MCCB), contactors, switch disconnectors, auxiliary contacts, shunt and UV releases.
  • •Lead engineering design for complete products and subsystems, including arc chamber, current paths, contact systems, and related technical architecture.
  • •Drive project execution through design, testing, validation, and implementation phases of NPI and NTI projects while ensuring IEC/UL and industry standards compliance.
  • •Perform system integration and component design with CAD concept modeling, analysis, and simulation coordination to meet performance and reliability targets.
  • •Mentor and guide junior team members and support updates through design reviews, reliability predictions, and corrective/preventive actions based on test results.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering in Electrical or Mechanical.
  • •9–14 years of experience.
  • •Minimum 8 years designing LV switchgears such as breakers, contactors, switch disconnectors, and fuses.
  • •Experience across the full product development cycle and with short circuit, temperature rise, arc testing, and EMC per IEC/UL standards.
  • •Proficient in CAD and PLM software, with knowledge of DfX/ProLaunch and PreLaunch processes.
