Develop and execute automation and programming projects to support advanced manufacturing processes. Design and build automation systems, including control systems, HMIs, and PLC ladder logic, while ensuring safety and usability. Create CAD/BOM/drawings for automated system buildouts, write LabVIEW programs to monitor and control processes, and develop Python/SQL solutions to collect and analyze operational data. Troubleshoot machinery and support continuous improvement across production teams.

•Lead development of new process technologies to support manufacturing of new and existing products.
•Design and develop automation systems internally or with third-party partners.
•Develop LabVIEW programs to monitor and control manufacturing processes and configure PLC ladder logic and HMIs for process control.
•Create CAD models, BOMs, and drawings for automated system buildouts and write/update manufacturing and engineering procedures.
•Troubleshoot existing automated systems and machinery and support continuous improvement and quality initiatives in manufacturing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
•3+ years of experience in programming, automation, and mechanical design (preferred).
•Experience with LabVIEW programming (certification preferred).
•Experience with PLC configuration and ladder logic programming.
•Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, and serial communication.
