Key Responsibilities

  • •Fleet Transportation: Use your vehicle(s) or fleet to collect, deploy, relocate, and retrieve e-scooters and e-bikes across Raleigh daily.
  • •Operational Management: Manage the end-to-end operation of your assigned portfolio, ensuring vehicles are available in high-demand areas.
  • •Maintenance & Quality: Perform light field checks to ensure vehicles are safe and environmentally friendly.
  • •Field Execution: Problem-solve in real-time to overcome obstacles, prioritize tasks, and navigate local geography efficiently.
  • •As an independent contractor, manage your own tools, equipment, and any associated expenses to meet Bird's operational needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Vehicle Access: must own or have consistent access to at least one large vehicle (van/truck) for transporting multiple scooters/bikes
  • •Storage Space: access to a garage, warehouse, or commercial facility with electricity for overnight charging
  • •License: Valid Class 5 Driver's License (or applicable commercial license) with a clean driving record
  • •Physical Ability: able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods while handling heavy equipment
  • •Availability: flexible schedule with willingness to operate on weekends
